This is an allegory relating to the struggle between light and dark.
In this story, we see how petty rivalries and Umbridges can escalate,
and how having just a little knowledge can lead to big problems.
At the core of this story is the old story of The Native American Indian grandfather talking to his grandchild about two wolves inside him, that are constantly at battle - one is a personification of anger vengeance and malice, the other is a personification of kindness compassion and love. The grand child is concerned for the grandfather and asks "But which wolf will win? The grandfather replies "The one that I feed".
This story helped to form a mantra in my mind that helped me to overcome a drink problem in 2004/2005 and was the inspiration behind the story of The Beast Keeper.
