I wrote this in my caravan at the beginning of spring, parked in a layby near Skipton (living on the road) Some sunlight had split into a rainbow on the page of my journal, and I couldn't work out where the refracted light was coming from. It felt like a beautiful present - The land was waking up outside and the thinks I enjoyed worked their way into the song.
My daughter came to visit and we recoded the song in an afternoon and evening in Mid Wales. Big thanks to Kenny and Sue for allowing us to record in their house.

lyrics
THE RAINBOW SONG
I do not know where the rainbows all go
Do not know where they come from
But the beauty they bind in the depths of my mind
That's the magic of being alive
Ripples on water
The voice of my daughter
Glimmering shimmering beams
Free light at the edge of your dreams
By the glittering dawn of a unicorns horn
I feel this land is coming to life
The land is coming to life
Ill see you at the edge of your dreams
The edge of your dream the edge of your dreams
The edge of my dreams
