I lived in Brazil and intuitively knew there was something different about the night sky I had the feeling the moon was the wrong way round (compared to it's position in an British sky). Years later, I imagined visiting that place in my dreams, but doing it by passing through the minds of sleeping people to get there - and the lyrics for the song began to take shape from there.

Wolof is an African language spoken in Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania. It is the native tongue of Amadou Diagne. I the song "Strange Stars" Amadou sings in Wolof during the middle bridge section.
